There's plenty of options throughout the Vegas Valley to see fireworks. Any one of us could simply step out in front of our homes to see the fireworks going off all over town, sometimes even on the next block over. As always, be safe if you have your own fireworks as well as driving around town as others set their fireworks off. If you are wanting to venture out to enjoy our Independence Day, here's what's going on in our neck of the woods. There's 2 big games in town, Heritage park and Boulder City.
Fourth of July Celebration 2024-Heritage Park

Description: It's America's Party in the beautiful setting of Heritage Park. Grab your red, white and blue for this popular summer tradition, the City of Henderson’s Fourth of July Celebration. Bring your friends and family and be ready to celebrate with live entertainment, great food, family games and of course, fireworks!
New this year, local radio favorite MIX 94.1 KMXB, will create the soundtrack for the fireworks display and simulcast the music on their station.
In addition to the Fourth of July Celebration at Heritage Park, the City of Henderson is partnering with Lake Las Vegas, M Resort Spa and Casino, and Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino to help light up the sky with fireworks from each location at 9 p.m.
Heritage Park is located at 350 S. Racetrack Rd. The event will be held in the southwest corner of the park (Racetrack Road & Newport Drive). Upon arrival, please follow the signs designating event entrance locations within the park.
Parking
FREE onsite parking is available at Heritage Park. Due to high attendance expectations, it is recommended to carpool or rideshare if possible. If you are a nearby resident, we encourage walking, biking, scootering, etc. to Heritage Park. There will be no shuttle service offered. If you choose to drive, please plan on arriving early to obtain a parking spot.
Weather
Fourth of July Celebration is a completely outdoor event. Please wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing. Wearing hats and sunscreen is encouraged. Stay hydrated (please bring water with you; bottled water will be available for purchase on-site).
Miscellaneous
- All bags are subject to search.
- Please be patient and courteous to others when entering and exiting event.
- Children under ages 16 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. For parents visiting with small children, it is recommended to take a photo of your child prior to/upon entering on your cell phone. In the unlikely and unfortunate event you are separated, the current photo will help our staff be able to easily identify your child when searching for them.
For Purposes:
- No pets (except for service animals)
- No glass containers
- No alcohol
- No sparklers or fireworks
- No weapons
- No barbecues
- No hazardous materials
- No smoking or vaping
- No staking tents into the lawn
- No water guns, no water blasters/soakers
Acceptable Items:
- Beach Towels (suggested if you plan to participate in the foam/water activities)
- Blankets
- Folding chairs
- Coolers
- Picnics
- Pop-up tents
- Be respectful of surroundings and others when choosing a location to set up.
- No staking tents into lawn.
- Please lower tents by 8:45pm.
4th of July Damboree Celebration

Tradition. It’s what binds our community and strengthens our roots. The Boulder City Damboree Committee is hosting its 76th Annual 4th of July Celebration. This event has a long history of bringing people together and creating community and family traditions. The community at large and our friends from afar look forward to the magic of this cherished event.
Pancake breakfast, parade, fireworks
Parking at Veteran's Park $20.00 per vehicle. Festivities start at 4:00 pm with food trucks, activities for the kids, music, and a spectacular fireworks display.
The pancake breakfast by the Boulder City Rotary at Bicentennial Park starts at 7am. Following will be the flyover by the Boulder City Veterans Flying Group. At 9am the parade will begin, following the traditional parade route. The Splash Park will be open and there will be food and games available. The evening will also feature the fireworks show the Damboree Committee is famous for.
