My daughter's bestie took me out to lunch! She asked where I wanted to go. I am not one to go for the Applebees, Chilis, or Olive Garden. I said I was up for anything that would be different in some way; something memorable. We landed at Mac & Grill Cheese Factory on Warm Springs Rd.
The Factory
From the street, you really can't tell what you are getting into. The windows are covered with a screen of Macaroni and Cheese comic-style cartoons. I arrived before my daughter and her bestie. I was welcomed into the UBER CLEAN restaurant. When I say it is clean... I mean this place is sanitized. You can see the cooking area and you just know that this place is Grade A! I mentioned I was meeting my kids and was given a laminated handheld menu that mirrored the large display. The small menu checks every box you would think of when you crave Mac and Cheese or Grilled Cheese. And this is what you get. It is not some boring Kraft. It is adult and fancy. But not so fancy the kids will be confused.

The Order
I was STARVING! There was no way that a little plate of Mac & Cheese was going to do the job. But when in Rome! Our order was taken and recommendations given. (This is about the time I realized it was Mac & Cheese and Grilled Cheese!) I landed on the Bacon Mac. The girls got the Lobster Mac and The Lobster and Shrimp Mac. It was not a quick order, and I was thankful. We could actually watch the chef at work. He was not dipping into old pots of noodles and cheese from yesteryear. He fired up the kitchen and set out like an artist on a blank canvas.
The Serving
This was no little plate of Mac& Cheese. It was huge. And so good! There was no way we even finished half of our meals! It was a delicious lunch. I can't wait to go back for the Pot Roast Melt!
