Field Trip Friday
We are all lucky enough to live just outside of the hustle and bustle of the entertainment capital of the world! We have no shortage of Family fun! There are also no shortages of visitors. Parents, friends, parents friends, that kid you knew in middle school, your brothers' tee-ball coach... whoever it is, they are expecting YOU to be the expert on all things Las Vegas. (Like you memorized the showtimes for the latest Michael Jackson Tribute?) Thankfully you have Macaroni Kid Henderson & Boulder City to help you along the way! I am taking my family on adventures and I can't wait to share our Family Fun!
| If you have a toddler or preschooler, you know BLIPPI. He is best known for his little bow tie and suspenders as well as his remarkable ability to connect and EDUCATE our kiddos. I am a nerd when it comes to sneaking education on my kids whenever possible. (I am the same mom that chops up zucchini into my spaghetti sauce!) Anyways, Blippi travels to Vegas, a lot! So when my brother and his family with two toddler boys roll into town, I track down the coolest spots! One recent find was Dig This for our group of 2 to 5-year-olds!

We arrived at DIG THIS and immediately got things started off with a great instructor explaining exactly how to operate the gears. Thankfully he stayed nearby to give a few pointers and helpful tips. The kids went wild! We may or may not have sung Blippi's Excavator Song and cheered the kids on! If you have tots, you are already knowing. If you have not heard the song, you will be singing it all day. (I am sorry in advance, it is so catchy!) |

| At DIG THIS there is a daily option for little ones to dig for only $25! It is a 15-minute ride. Believe me, it is the perfect amount of time for a tot. Long enough for them to really get the feel for the gears, not too long that they lose interest.
They have other options for bigger kids, too! Bulldozers, giant excavators, a backhoe, and more. There is even an opportunity to CRUSH A CAR! But for little Blippi followers, the 1-ton excavator is everything their little dreams are made of.

Dig This was so much fun for the Preschool and Kindergarten crowd, I can't wait to take my Middle Schooler and her friends. And just so you know... I did operate the excavator! In fact, most of their business comes from ladies! Maybe the next visit will be a mom's night out! Who is with me?
