CD Young’s Karate Child Development Center starts training kids in KARATE and then teaches them so much more. Children and Teens love creativity and problem solving, which makes them ideal students in martial arts. We provide them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner that adapts to their social and intellectual curiosity while building skills that set them up for success. These include things like focus, teamwork, control, memory, balance, discipline, fitness, and coordination.

 | Our curriculum is infused with the latest understandings in child psychology and development. This means that your child isn’t in just any martial arts program anymore... At different ages, kids have different motor skills and levels of intelligence. By creating age level specific classes. and using scientific facts to give them EXACTLY what they need at each level, our students become more engaged and our program becomes more fun and more powerful for their development physically, socially, and emotionally. We will tell you ourselves that It’s not magic or some secret ancient wisdom, as cool as that would be, that allows us to give you this specific, proven system. All it really comes down to is our philosophy and commitment in developing the “whole” student as opposed to simply teaching a specific skill.
