Greetings!!
With 2020 being such an unusual year and the holidays flying by so fast, I wanted to take a moment to talk about family time. The one thing I learned this year is the importance of family. We moved out here in 2015 thinking we would be okay with all of our family on the east coast. Up until 2020 we were okay. We planned trips to visit family and family came to visit us. Thanks to COVID-19, all of that was put to a stop. The hardest part is not having family down the road to grab a cup of coffee, go shopping with, or gather for the holidays. It wasn't so bad because we could regularly go visit them for all of this.
I don't mean to babble on, but you get my point. With this year being the way it has been, it has made me cherish the family I do have here - husband, son and two furbabies - so much more. We are doing everything we can to support one another, have fun, and make the most out of the time we have together. As a mom of a teenage son who will be going to college soon, I highly recommend you take the next two weeks, sit back, and find ways to enjoy time with the family you have here. Cherish every moment and do what is necessary to make memories to last a lifetime. Wait ... make memories that last forever!
