One thing I love about my job is I get to work with other business owners in the community. This includes interviewing and learning more about the owners and the services they offer. The next best thing about my job is I get to share what I have learned and introduce our readers to these amazing business men and women.
Let’s meet Sherri Long with Sugar and Spice Las Vegas!
Macaroni Kid: Tell us more about Sugar and Spice Las Vegas.
Sherri: Sugar and Spice makes gourmet, hand-dipped chocolate peanut butter balls. These truffle-sized balls are packaged in boxes of 4 and 12. All products come out of a commercial kitchen, which is licensed and inspected through Southern NV Health District.
Macaroni Kid: Tell us why you love being a part of our community.
Sherri: I love that people come from so many different places. Las Vegas is a bit of a “melting pot.”
Macaroni Kid: What is your greatest business triumph?
Sherri: My greatest triumph has been the incredible ability to now balance work, kids, school, and home.
Macaroni Kid: Do you have any tips for parents who are now finding themselves having to work from home?
Sherri: Do one thing every day to advance your business … no matter how big or small. If you can look back on the day and know you did at least one thing, you have made progress from the day before!
Macaroni Kid: Are you offering any virtual services?
Sherri: Our website for e-commerce is now live and I am now venturing into the world of shipping!
