Virtual Services Available Through Henderson Libraries

By Heather Landon, Publisher SW Las Vegas, Henderson & Boulder City March 16, 2020

There has been a lot of changes happening here in Henderson due to COVID-19 concerns. Schools, libraries, and some local businesses are closing down for several weeks as we wait this out. The Henderson Libraries offers more than just a place to go for storytime, crafts, and to check out books. There are a variety of online resources available to all Henderson Libraries card holders.

Virtual services available include downloading eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and more. These services are available for all ages 24/7. These services are available through Lynda.com (a LinkedIn company), hoopla, OneDrive, kanopy, creativebug, and libby. Download on your favorite device today, including Apple, Google, Amazon and Windows. Library cards may be required for some services.

One of our favorite virtual resources available through Henderson Libraries is creativebug. Check out our recent article about creativebug by clicking here.

Visit the Henderson Libraries website for a detailed list of services, a list of FAQs and details on how to download today. If you have any questions or need assistance with these services, call (702) 492-7252 or email reference@hendersonlibraries.com.

Also, please note, that all drop off locations for library returns are closed and the library will not be charging any late fees for materials while they are closed.

Macaroni Kid Henderson-Boulder City will announce when the Henderson Libraries open again.
