I cannot believe it is 2020 and our son turns 16 this week. We were real busy in 2019, but this year, we plan to be much more busier. Together as af family, we came up with a fun 2020 Bucket List, filled with things to do together. We have everything on there from new things to try to new places to visit and new recipes to cook to fun things to make.
Here is our 2020 Family Bucket List:
Go - Hiking more Try - Zip-lining at Bootleg Canyon Read - One book a month with my son (he’s a teenager and loves Michael Crichton and James Patterson) Play - More board games as a family Eat - Healthier Learn - How to drive (that’s my son’s) Make - More memories with the family Cook - Family meals weekly together See - Alcatraz | Do - Anything new Give - More time to local charities Grow - My business Travel - To the Bahamas with my mom so my son can have some grandma time Visit - Waverly Hills Sanatorium (my son and I love visiting spooky places) Watch - One classic movie a week Get - New television for family video game night Practice - Tennis with my son Enjoy - A cruise with the family |
That’s a lot of things to accomplish in 2020! What I love about this list is that there is a little bit of everything and most of it includes the entire family. Now it’s your turn. Write down the items I have in bold on this list and come up with 18 different things for you and your family to accomplish in 2020! You got this!
To make your 2020 Family Bucket List, grab a notebook and write down these different categories: Go, Try, Read, Play, Ear, Learn, Make, Cook, See Do, Give, Grow Travel, Visit, Get, Practice and Enjoy. Then, sit down with the family and work on filling everything in. Then it’s time to start planning and marking things off! |
