Boulder City Library helping to promote reading at an early age

Fall is almost here. Find all of the amazing events, fall crafts and fall fun in Henderson & Boulder City here! 

It is important to start kids reading at an early age and the Boulder City Library has just the program to help you get started. “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” is a program that rewards you and your little one with prizes for every 100 books read. The end goal is to read 1000 books before your child starts Kindergarten. 

This program is designed for parents with kids ages birth to 5 years old. At this age, we all know kids have their favorite books and this program does allow you to repeat books as you read toward your goal.
