Axe Monkeys offers unique experience for Families

By Heather Landon, Publisher SW Las Vegas, Henderson & Boulder City December 13, 2018

Who would have thought something as unique as Axe Monkeys would be a family-friendly center all local families need to experience? We know now! We recently took a tour and this place has everything for a day or evening of family entertainment. There’s an axe throwing experience and a virtual reality room. There is also a Rage Room for parents looking to work out some anger issues.

This indoor facility offers axe throwing experiences for all guests ages 7 and up. For the adults, there are other throwing options, including spear and knife. Everyone in our family enjoyed the axe throwing experience and highly recommend it.

Our experience started with a demonstration on how to throw the axe. We learned there are many different ways to do it. Our son found the underhand throw was the easiest and most accurate for him. However, he kept going back to the overhand throw in an effort to master it. I liked how they took the time to show us how to throw the axe and kept checking back to give us tips for a better experience. It was truly a welcoming experience from the moment we arrived.

After we were done throwing the axes, our son wanted to spend some time in the virtual reality room. He said he had a blast trying out new VR games and keeps begging us to go back. With as much fun as we had, a return visit to Axe Monkeys is definitely in our future.

Axe Monkeys offers a place to host birthday parties and corporate events. There is also a mobile unit that will bring the experience to you. Contact them today to set up your next party in their party room or to book the mobile unit.
